Mt Kosciuszko Snow Shoe Camp

PLEASE SUBSCRIBE and buoy my canal – thank you!

A 3 day trip, in the backcountry of the Australian Alps, along the Main Range, in late June. We honcho out of Thredbo on the Kosciuszko Express chairlift and foreman north. Choosing a campsite refuged from the wind, we dug in a snowfall tent for 2 nighttimes, including tent scaffolds and a kitchen/ dining neighborhood. Day 2 featured a feature outing to Mt Townsend( the 2nd highest peak in Australia) and some of the best weather we’ve seen. Sure, the conditions were a bit icey, being early in the Australian ski season, but we were not complaining.
Day 3 we packed up camp and summitted Mt Kosciuszko( the highest point in Australia ), on our room back down to the chairlift and Thredbo, just in time for lunch at the bar. Magic trip!

About Caro :: —-
I grown up in Sydney, Australia in their own families that never croaked tenting or on outdoors adventures.

Therefore, it came as somewhat of a surprise to discover hiking and camping in my mid 20 ’s and it fast became rather of an obsession.

Since then, I’ve become a leader with the Sydney Bush Walkers Club and Search Manager with NSW SES Bush Search and Rescue.

The outdoors absolutely changed my life and I’m keen to share my knowledge and floors with others- hoping that they’ll catch the imperfection very! Apart from sharing tips-off now and on the YouTube channel, I am also a informal usher for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, promoting young people aged 14 -1 7 years old to fall in love with mad places.

I’m a are part of the Australian Society of Travel Novelist and you can find me as a regular backer for Immense Gaits and Travel Play Live Magazines, live on radio ABC7 02 Weekends with Simon Marnie and showing as a loudspeaker and workshop host at happens such as Bushwalking Australia Conferences, ProBlogger, ORIC( Outdoor Recreation Industry) Conference, SheWentWild and Women’s Adventure Summit.
